Cookie policy

Last updated: 13 May 2026

We keep cookies to a minimum. This page is a short summary; the full list and processors live in the privacy statement.

Summary

We only set strictly-necessary cookies (sign-in session, sign-in refresh, and the record of your banner choice). We do not run third-party analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. We do run our own self-hosted product analytics, but only when you opt in, and that runs without any cookies: a random session ID lives in localStorage and is not linked to your identity.

For the full list of cookies, the analytics events we record, processors and retention periods, see the cookie and analytics sections of the privacy statement.

How long analytics data is kept

Analytics data has three retention tiers, depending on the layer. Analytics identifiers stored in your browser (our session ID in localStorage) stay on your device only until you clear browser storage or opt out. Raw analytics events on our server are kept for 18 months and then deleted. Aggregated, non-identifying reports (for example, pageviews per day) may be kept for up to 5 years for long-term trend analysis.

The canonical values live in the retention table in the privacy statement.
